About the Artist

Michael DeLuca is an artist from the Philadelphia, PA area who understands drawing as a medium unto itself. Michael holds an MFA in Painting from Indiana University, and a BFA in Painting from Arcadia University. Working exclusively with pastel and collage, he uses 2-dimensional graphic shapes, patterns, and vibrant colors as subject matter to explore ideas of weightlessness, space, and the sublime.
